After going separate ways to work on their blossoming solo careers, brother-sister duo Augus and Julia Stone received a stern word from mega-producer Rick Rubin to get back together once again and write as a band.

They subsequently took his advice and ended up writing and recording their self-titled third album at his Shangri La Studio in Malibu.

And now, the Sydney-based musicians will bring their live show to New Zealand. The one-off show at Auckland’s Powerstation this September will see the band perform many of their most recognized tracks including 'Big Jet Plane', along with new material from the soon to be released album - that Rubin boasts as “extraordinary.”

Joining them will be Brisbane artists Vancouver Sleep Clinic.
