Overview

The highly anticipated 2014 NZ International Comedy Festival is here and with it comes some shows that demand your attention. One of these is the Creeping Charlie Showcase taking place on 30 April at the Q Theatre.

Founded in 2009 by Hilary Coe, director of the NZ International Comedy Festival from 2001 to 2008, Creeping Charlie is a full service comedy company that manages some of NZ's most high-profile comedians.

Featuring Wilson Dixon, Urzila Carlson, Ewen Gilmour, Rhys Mathewson, Nick Rado, Jesse Griffin and Simon McKinney, all together on one night for the first time, it's another one of the shows that appeals to both first-time Festival goers and comedy buffs alike. Without sticking to just one act for the evening you're able to sample some of the best NZ has to offer and get a feel for who you might want to see more of later in the Festival.

For more info on each of the comics, check out their profiles here.
