Overview

Lorde, the girl from Auckland's North Shore who quietly released her debut EP The Love Club on Soundcloud, and then you know, basically blew up on the international circuit, winning two Grammys etc., is going on tour, here in New Zealand.

We all know her as the gawky part-goth part-witch and voice behind the breakout Grammy-winning song 'Royals', a song first commercially played on home turf by George FM. Soon after she topped New Zealand charts, and then topped the US Billboard's Alternative Songs charts (the first female to do so in 17 years), and then topped the Billboard Hot 100 charts for an easy nine weeks. Many more other accolades, awards and a Rolling Stone interview followed. Her most recent bragging right puts the 17-year-old in the role of sole curator of the new Hunger Games film soundtrack, as well as the lead single.

She will be playing shows in Canterbury, Otago, Wellington and Auckland from late October until early November. Tickets will go on sale the 1st of September at 9am.
