The Feast

Overview

Whilst it isn’t quite food, three courses of theatre could make for a pretty entertaining evening. The Feast is your ultimate value for money show, performing at the Basement Theatre for just four nights. One ticket lets you watch three pretty interesting sounding stories presented in three very different forms. The first is a short snippet of spoken poetry, the second a presentation of shadow art, and the third a show by a clown. Each tells a different tale, in a different medium, so perfect for those with a diminishing attention span.

Conversation between shows within the audience is encourages. Each performance is meant to incite thought, ideas and inspiration. There will be enough of an interval between the performers for audiences to chat amongst themselves and indulge in some freshly homemade soup (aha, so there is food). An initiative from the Red Leap Theatre’s Incubator programme, and thanks to local theatre experts Jess Holly Bates, Robert Mignault and Felix Becroft, the three course theatre meal with a side of soup sounds like it could be a bit of fun.
