Concrete Playground

In this triannual event held on the first Thursday of the month, K Road showcases some of Auckland's finest creative talent in the art, photography and music worlds. And with this month's theme being DIY, there will be lots of ways for you to get involved.

A zine market put on by Auckland Zinefest will take over Saint Kevin's Arcade and you'll find free art events including light installations, a handmade craft market, screen printing workshops, live music, fashion shows and theatre productions dotted all around K Road.

After perusing the arts and crafts, go check out Blues 'n' Da Hood, a collaboration between some of Auckland's top musicians. They'll be playing upstairs in Galatos from 7:30pm.
